The challenge
We know small things can be photographed with great detail but can they be captured after dark.. yes but mine are blurs.
The camera takes longer to focus in the dark, so a zone must be established.
If they are close to the camera they will be a white spot.
I guess the zone would need to be far enough away that they were not too bright but not so far away they are tiny in the pic.
I hoped to capture one on my pups nose.. lighted .. ๐ Only way that would happen is if a bunch of people captured em and brought them n let em out before they got away.
For me letting the grass grow is easy ๐. My Pup has a swimming pool because they like water... the rest hmmm
If they eat Nectar, might that invite them for a photo shoot? It looks like you can buy it and humming birds are attracted to it too.
I guess it will be a telephoto with the proper light intensity that can be adjusted with 'regular' cameras.
I have been trying for a couple nights and one time one of them kept coming toward my flash, imagining thinking it was an invitation .. guess they flash their bottoms when they r looking for a good time.
The challenge is on, show your best capture .
Below the tiny yellow spot is the best so far with Kookie.
