Kooky Standards

 AccuLumen Brightness Index
not another

To teach or communicate people must have the same standard and meaning of words.

The amount of lighted needed for a photo is measured by the size of the opening and/or how long the opening is left open.

Something must be made a bench mark or standard for common collaboration.

No matter if others have a lens/camera that will open to a specific f stop (hole size), as long as one size is adopted, the system would be universal.

Change it, what ever but I will adopt f8 for standard in this example.

Next a standard iso must be adopted. Standard iso 400.

Just did one .. n it said 1/60th .. forget all the fractions, lets make it the standard amount of light and call it 100.

After that is made a standard, all other amounts would be identified as fractions of the base standards, 75, 125 ...

To measure the sky visibility
The 'perfect' clear sky would have the standard of 100, cloud or pollution factors would be given in fractions of 100

Similar to lumens measurments.
