If you want a pic on Mt. P. with your pals
Being out of the loop at this stage of life and love to take photos, I think I add every suggested fb pal thinking I might meet em on Mt. P. and they would know who I am :)
If I took your pic I might not remember.. People are more likely to remember an old guy with a Saint who asked em for a few shots.
Taking pics of people on Mt. P. from the fairgrounds.
The photos are not very sharp, but they are pretty dramatic.
About 75mm
Zooming in
About 600mm
Lots of em sit on the rock here
This is one of the best candid shots I captured.
The camera on a tripod and a release so there is no vibration
A few times through the years I get invites but never go any place I can't take my pup.
Invited to an outside wedding at Ash Cave I stood on a cliff above and captured some photos.
Most of the time I just ask strangers for some shots and can get shots with all of them in the pic :)
Since 2010 I have talked to gobs of people for a few minutes but only remember a couple. Some times they stop me and remind me I took their pics.
If I have taking your pic or you are a fb pal and wanna do some teley pics on Mt. P. you have to look at the weather to have a clear sky around sunset. The lighting will be golden and perfect for some dramatic photos.
Most of my pics are at Mt P, because it is so close and the pup has better chances of getting pets in spite of being ornery/
The collection of photos I took at Hocking Hills are pasted in this music slide show. The wedding of Joey n Kelly is at the end.. 20 minutes, so you would have to be brave to watch it :)
The first 3 camping girls.. they are kids in Australia, their mom my photography pal :)
