Sunrise attempt

This is the ideal spot, but I would need to know what day of the year the sun would be in position.

The sun appeared on the left and moved right. Sun flare soon blurred the photos.

If it comes up in the left and moves right, how is it that sunset, it drops on the left hmmm 

Sun flare made it out of focus.

Don't figure I will make it again in this life time, unless I can figure out how to keep the foreground sharp and capture the sun.
